Certified Stone

A Letter — or Certificate — of Authenticity (LOA) is official documentation provided by the designer, maker or manufacturer to verify that a particular item is an original design and authentic jewelry production by the named designer or brand.

To tell if your diamond is real, place the stone in front of your mouth and, like a mirror, fog it up with your breath. If the stone stays fogged for a few seconds, then it's probably a fake. A real diamond won't fog up easily since the condensation doesn't stick to the surface

Fake items are generally not stamped at all, or they'll say things like 925, GP (gold plated), or GF (gold filled). But, here's the thing, the karat stamp isn't always accurate. For many times the chain could be fake, but the jump ring or the clasp is real (very misleading)..

Designing jewelry can truly be one of the most rewarding careers in art and fashion. There are opportunities to create pieces that will be cherished and loved by other people, and seeing your creative visions and ideas turned into a wearable piece of art is rewarding and gratifying

A jeweler is an artisan who uses metals, gems and other materials to create adornments like bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces. They might also be called upon to repair, adjust, clean, and appraise pieces of jewelry
